MODEM FESTIVAL SOUTH AFRICA EDITION
Family, friends, modemheads and future fans; hereby we invite you to join us in a new adventure called MoDem Festival South Africa!
After a decade of events and festival organisation, it's time to introduce you to the new chapter of the Momento Demento story. For New Year's Eve 2021. we are temporarily relocating to the Western Cape, South Africa. We will change the continent, but the idea and vision will remain the same. And that means underground psychedelic music combined with cutting edge visual and experimental art. With South Africa Edition we will continue to push the boundaries of event production. MoDem collective will be represented by it's most recognizable visionaries: ExtraDimensional Space Agency, FlipZurd, Sumeria Creations, Hybrid Project and Afterlife Visuals.
The line up will feature well known international live acts and DJ's in combination with talented local artists. On two stages, in three nights and four days, we will showcase an uncompromising musical program with the characteristic signature that makes MoDem Festival the unique psychedelic experience. As the MoDem philosophy is not about big numbers, and our focus is on the quality of content for our visitors, ticket numbers will be limited. Be sure to get yours on time.

For the reasons that are today more than obvious and self explanatory we decided to put MODEM FESTIVAL SOUTH AFRICA EDITION on hold until further notice.
We are still not giving up on the idea of organizing the South African edition of the Mo:Dem Festival, only the realization of our project will have to wait for better days. We will announce our future plans as soon as normal travelling and other logistical barriers between Europe and South Africa are back to normal.

We need to inform you that we have decided to postpone MODEM FESTIVAL SOUTH AFRICA EDITION for one year.
If you are interested in experiencing MODEM FESTIVAL SOUTH AFRICA EDITION you can mark New Year 2021/2022 in your calendars. We will inform you about the exact dates of the new event in time.
Straightforward and honestly, we made this hard decision based on one fact. The technical and logistical barriers between Croatia and South Africa are simply too large to (within the given timeframe) prepare and produce complete MODEM FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE. And that was our mission: bringing the whole MoDem creative force to South Africa and execution of full MoDem-style production.
We do not consider this a defeat, true defeat would be compromising with our vision and lowering the standards you expect and deserve. We are sad but determined more than ever. In advance, we thank you for your understanding and support.
Also, we want to apologize if this postponement caused any trouble or f***** up your holiday plans. C'est la Vie!

Here at MoDem Festival, we consider AudioFools to be cream of the crop in contemporary psychedelic trance music. For that reason, with great joy, we can announce that AudioFools will perform at Mo:Dem Festival South Africa Edition, 30th December 2020 - 2nd January 2021.
This demented Danish duo is the embodiment of what MoDem Festival aims to be: one-third of hard work & dedication, one-third of fun and one-third of pure madness. Consisting of the two producers Jahbo & Onkel Dunkel, this is the project you just won't be able to miss or ignore.
